Missing Persons - Here and Now
Spring Session M is the debut album by American new wave band Missing Persons, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). The title of the album is an anagram of the band's name. Tracks from this album: "Words", "Windows", "Destination Unknown", and "Walking in LA" all had videos created and all received heavy play on MTV and AOR and modern rock radio. The group toured and its shows were well attended.
Track listing: all songs written by Terry Bozzio and Warren Cuccurullo, except where noted
1. "Noticeable Ones" -- 3:24 2. "Windows" (T. Bozzio) -- 4:59 3. "It Ain't None of Your Business" -- 2:55 4. "Destination Unknown" -- 3:35 5. "Walking in L.A." (T. Bozzio) -- 3:59 6. Th@nks 2 Fr@nk (Gr@cias a Fr@nk...
Thanks 2 Frank is an all-original Warren Cuccurullo rock guitar masterpiece.
The album is named, of course, due to Warren's great respect and admiration for Frank Zappa. He has often said in interviews that if not for Frank, he would not have his career...that he owes it all to him.
Hence, Thanks 2 Frank. However, there are no Frank Zappa songs on the album...these are all Warren's.
He recorded the album live, with no overdubs, in two days (August 20 and 28, 1994) in Metropolis Studios, London, except for the title track, which was recorded July 7, 1994 at 2:30 AM, at his first solo show, at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.
He also handled all production duties. Written during the 10 day period before his Stone Pony solo show (except for "Galactic Ballerina," which was written later), these songs are a mix of precision and passion.

Missing Persons - Windows US Festival '83 synced
This is another version of the Missing Persons performance of Windows from the US Festival Sunday May 30, 1983 (MP played from 1:40-2:40). There's already a version of this on YouTube but I wanted to make a version with the AV synced for those of us interested in seeing Bozzio's drum fills in real time. UPDATE: it looks like the YouTube encoding actually threw it a little out of sync again but it's still much better than it was before. PS: was Terry's vocal mic even on?

Missing Persons - Noticeable One
My image is hard My attitude heavy I take you out with the things that i say I draw the crowds and whenever i'm ready I've got what it takes to blow them all away
I am your social and your cultural leader I create the fads and make all the scenes You know about me from your weekly reader I'm on the cover of your magazines-
Coz i am one of the noticeable ones Notice me I am one of the noticeable ones Notice me
My private life is scandalized by the public But that's the price i have to pay for my fame And all the liggers in my way with their cute tricks Are getting over just by dropping my name
