	Getting Out---An animation short, re-dubbed by Mark Dawson Sound design by Mark Dawson. The original sound was created by Andrew Diey of Radium (manchester). I re-dubbed the animation from scratch having only the original voices to start with. I Used a sound library of sounds that I have manipulated and effected using several audio DAW's such as Cubase SL3, Sound Forge, CamelPhat/CamelSpace,(vsti) and other techniques such as time-streching, pitch shift, reverb, phaser, chorus and surround sound effects to try to convey a piece of audio to try and keep the viewer entertained throughout. 	The Difference Marty (Mark Dawson) has always wanted to be something more than he was. When he starts to see himself the way he wishes he could be, he must now decide if that is the person he still wants to become. This short film was shot in the summer of 2006, and stars Mark Dawson. It tied for the 3rd Place Audience Award at The Motion Picture Institute of Michigan's film festival in September 2006. View Video

	Dazed and Confused (good quality) "Dazed and Confused" (live) by Led Zeppelin Music Video Directed by: Alicen Rahing Edited by: Mark Dawson Our group chose to make a video for "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin because we fell in love with it when we listened to it in class. The live version is very experimental and artistic, which allowed for our music video to be experimental and artistic as well. The sexuality of Led Zeppelin has led many to associate the band with a male fan base, and we wanted to show people that both genders can equally enjoy and relate to their music. Led Zeppelin was all about pushing the envelope and doing things no one else was doing, and we wanted to represent that. We chose to be very edgy with our video, and did not shy away from references to drinking, drug use, and sex, three things often associated with Led Zeppelin and the experimental rock movement of their time. Our music video holds true to that animalistic sensuality, while not forgetting the lyrics to the song. "Dazed and Confused," off of Led Zeppelin's self-titled first album, was originally written by folk singer Jake Holmes, who was quoted in a magazine saying, "The song's about a girl who hasn't decided whether she wants to stay with me or not. It's pretty much one of those love songs." View Video

	Duplicity Official Trailer Shot in 2004, this is the official trailer to the movie Duplicity. Tom (Mark Dawson) is a rookie hitman, who feels that things can still get done without worring about the conquences. His partner, Neil (Carl Vogler) is one who knows the game well and does things by the book. Their boss, Mr. Morgan (Mike Crowe) will stop at nothing to get his way, and sends Tom and Neil out to kill one of their own. It was never fully explained to them, what has led up to Morgan wanting his former partner killed, but after discovering the true nature of Morgan, it becomes more a question of killing their targets....or joining them. 	The Evil That Lies Within The Sword of Destiny The mood is dark. The room is dimly lit by a lamp placed across the room. Illuminating the torn leather couch, small coffee table, and kitchen table, it stands alone in the corner, almost calling out for company. Joining it in the room is the darkening Dr. William Parkinson and his wife Jessie in the midst of an argument about the power of the sword. "It is only a tool, one that I need to learn," he screams at her, wanting her to understand that his motives were merely scholastic, hiding his curiosity of its true capabilities. "Is the sword more important than me?" she shouts back at him through the sobs. "I just can't explain the importance of this find. It will make my career, make the century. Can't you just accept that?" She buries her head in her lap. The sobs turn to full weeping. Appearing overwhelmed by his response, he tries again to justify it. "With the funding I get from this, we will never be poor again. People will come to us. We could be more than comfortable for the rest of our lives." Unaffected by his second explanation, she continues to cry, falling into a chair and resting her body on the table, looking for support. He walks across the room, trying to avoid the moans. He screams from the door, "Why are you so stupid? Why can you not understand?" Glancing up at him, she screams, "Why are you being like this? Why have you changed?" This comment infuriates him. His eyes glaze like a bleak storm, cold like a stone. Almost running across the room, he jerks her from the chair and throws her against the wall, yelling, "I am no different! You are the one who has changed." Hitting the wall and collapsing to the floor, she is still weeping. He retrieves the sword from its case, and begins to hold it, still talking to his wife. "It's so beautiful. Look at the inlay. The details alone I could study for months. Imagine the secrets it holds." Still cowering, she screams, "You already discovered it. Let someone else study it. You have your glory." "I could never let it go. It's mine," he claims, staring at the tip and slowing swinging it closer and closer to her face. Their eyes meet, and the cold stare chills her body. She sees his intentions and screams, "NOOO!!!" He closes his eyes and swings, feeling the warm red liquid splatter over his body. He looks at the wall, now covered in blood, and falls. View Video
