	The Fantastic Journey - The Innocent Prey - Part 1 First part of the final episode of "THE FANTASTIC JOURNEY". Supporting Jared Martin, Roddy McDowall, Carl Franklin & Ike Eisenmann (TFJ's cast, minus Liana) is an impressive and stellar guest cast: the superb Lew Ayres, Nicholas Hammond (of the 70's short-lived series Spiderman), Gerald McRaney, Cheryl Ladd, Richard Jaeckel and more. A great episode filled with hard-to-grasp yet nevertheless timeless spiritual principles. A must see for any Fantastic Journeyer. I will upload the rest as soon as I can. Enjoy! View Video
	Second Coming of Suzanne - Spoof: weird edits "The Second Coming of Suzanne" aka "Suzanne" is an experiential 70's movie for which I confess having zero appreciation. Except that Jared Martin stars as the sinfully handsome and superbly demented filmmaker, Logan. (Also starring is Sondra Locke; Richard Dreyfus only makes micro-mini cameo appearances here and there and doesn't say much at all.) This movie, which never saw a theatrical release, was in part the reason that Jared Martin became Varian: he showed "The Fantastic Journey" producers an excerpt of "Suzanne" when he auditioned for the part, and the rest is history. But my personal lack of appreciation for the acid-laced psychelic-cism of early seventies "art" causes me to view this film as a mere juxtaposition of unrelated scenes that strain my attention span and kinda weird me out: there's fingernails running across a blackboard (watch without fear, I edited that out), close-up cigar smoking, typewriting on board an airplane, crowded busy scenes, upside-down images (as you'll see), and so on and so forth; {on the director's defense, there is a running theme of "insanity"}; there's also candid interviews of un-well-groomed people on the street such as the zealous gentleman you will see at the end fervently sharing some of his avant-garde political views. Then there's that music..! Objectively speaking, Jared Martin did turn out a strong and passionate performance and is a pleasure to watch, but I felt that his talent wasn't properly supported by the end product. So I thought I'd enlist the help of Varian and have some fun with "The Fantastic Journey" and see if I don't come up with something that entertains me a little bit better. (I did.) Hope you like it. Susan Howard, who would be later reunited with Jared Martin in "Dallas" also appeared in "Vortex", the first part of the pilot for TFJ. Also starring Ike Eisenmann, Carl Franklin, Scott Thomas, Leif Erickson, Ian McShane and Karen Sommerville. This is my first try with the program to test it. I'm aware that some of the edits are too fast for the music, unfortunately it got saved like that and the original cut deleted so I wasn't able to fix it. Nevertheless, this is for all the TFJ fans, and hope you like it. 	Fantastic Journey: Innocent Prey 5- Carl Franklin - Part 5- A very poignant starring Carl Franklin. (Yes, the nowadays director). For the first time we get to know one of the TFJ characters in depth: Fred Walters talks about the guilt from his past that still haunts him to this day, drives him to punch out the daylights of whomever (including Varian in the pilot!) and ask the questions later. This is a wonderful episode, and it was the finale of TFJ. Episode 10, unfortunately. View Video
	Fantastic Journey - Jared Martin & Roddy McDowall cool scene A superb scene between Roddy McDowall and Jared Martin. The way Varian calls Willaway on his B.S. is priceless! Roddy is obviously having tons of fun being delightfully wicked, and his Jonathan Willaway is more outrageous than ever. Almost at lightning speed, Jared goes thru a colorful range of emotions with pure brilliance, as his Varian vacillates between (feigned) naïveté and sharpness. The stunning contrast between both the rhythms of the actors and their humor makes this scene Emmy-worthy and a wonderful treat for the viewer. Ike provides stellar support to his incomparable co-stars. Special mention goes out to Michael Michaelian and DC Fontana for the outstanding writing. (Please watch the clip now then read the following to avoid spoiler). Fantastic line: "I tell you, that man has an ego that will not stop!" Mel Ferrer is the one seen at the end.
