Beatles Rare Mad Day Out Footage
On Sunday, July 28th 1968, in the midst of recording sessions for the White Album, The Beatles decided to spend a Mad Day Out being photographed at seemingly random locations all over London. Paul's then girlfriend, Francie Schwartz was assigned the task of picking locations that would act as suitable photographic sites. Veteran war photographer Don McCullin was called upon to act as primary cameraman, however additional photographers Ronald Fitzgibbon, Stephen Goldblatt, Tom Murray, and Tony Bramwell came along as well. Beatles' assistant Mal Evans also came along and took pictures. Other spectators included Mal's six-year-old son Gary Evans, Yoko Ono, and Francie Schwartz.

Re:Re: bass notes: the low C and the double low C
Here´s the 3rd installment, thank you for all assistance out there!
1. Opera bass Cesare Siepi sings a powerful C2 from Opera "La Juive". 2. French bass Henri Medus easily nails a B1 from "Si la Rigueur". 3. Johnny Cash sings a few B1:s in the E-major version of "walk the line". 4. Pasuikov from clip 5 (this clip is the beginning of clip 5) singing powerful A1:s and B1:s. 5. Russian basso profundo Vladimir Pasuikov singing down to Ab1, very powerful singing here. 6. Tim Riley hitting a G1 from "God´s building a church", thanks hugedell. 7. Finally the famous clip where wiktor wichniakov gets down to G1 (not C#1 as stated on other sites), from "do not cast me off in the old age". 8. Richard Sterban from Oak Ridge Boys with a nice sustianed G1 from "Family Reunion", thanks hotlips. 9. Gene Macdonald with a powerful A1..Ab1...G1, from song "there´s a light". 10. Sterban once again, this time with a nice F1 from "Trying to love two women". 11. One time guiness world record holder Dan Britton (Db0) with a Db1 this time, from the pierce arrow site. 12. Gary Evans from the Acapella youtube clip Roll Jordan, hitting a B0 and then finishing off with a E1.
I believe there´s even more subwoofer tracks out there!
Enjoy!

Nuclear Reactors & Terrorism: Vulnerabilities & Solutions
Video narrated by Martin Sheen discussing the importance of beefing up security measures at nuclear power plants. Produced by Dan Hirsch, Kevin Petajan, and Michael Rose. Animation by Kevin Petajan, Meridian Media. Edited by Gary Evans/Kevin Petajan. Music by Eric Gosnell. Source animation material courtesy of Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition. For more information, go to committeetobridgethegap.org BACKGROUND More than four years after the tragedy of 9/11, America's nuclear reactors remain woefully vulnerable to terrorism. Even though NINETEEN people were involved in those attacks, TIME Magazine reports that Nuclear Regulatory Commission rules require security protections against no more than FIVE external attackers on the ground, and NO protection whatsoever from attacks by air. This is despite the fact that reactors contain ONE THOUSAND times the long-lived radioactivity of the Hiroshima bomb, and release of that radioactivity could kill tens of thousands of people and leave an area the size of Pennsylvania uninhabitable for generations. Nuclear power plants thus are a kind of pre-emplaced radiological weapon, often located near our biggest cities, that can be set off by our adversaries, to devastating effect. But it need not be so. If we are to have nuclear power plants in this country -- and there are strong reasons to question the wisdom of reliance on such a dangerous source of energy -- then at least we should protect them from attack. Reactors should be required to be able to be defended against an attack involving at least the number of attackers seen on 9/11, and "Beamhenge" shields, made of steel I-beams and cabling, should be built around them so that an incoming plane hits the shield, not the reactor or irradiated fuel pool. Tell the NRC and your Congressional representatives to beef up protections against catastrophic radiation releases, NOW. For more information, go to committeetobridgethegap.org
