Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases the action-packed thriller The Shepherd: Border Patrol on March 4 for the SRP of $24.96. Martial Arts Master, Jean-Claude Van Damme (Double Impact, The Hard Corps, Derailed) stars as Jack Robideaux, a former New Orleans homicide detective who takes a job with the U.S. Border Patrol. Stationed at the dangerous border between Columbus and Las Palomas, Mexico, Jack uncovers a vicious criminal drug ring controlled by the ruthless Benjamin Myers (Stephen Lord -- Until Death, The Tell-Tale Heart), a former U.S. Ranger who is flanked by a top-notch team of elite soldiers that run an (almost) impenetrable operation. As the chase escalates to explosive heights, Jack and Myers confront each other, and the truth about both sides is unleashed.
Synopsis: The Shepherd
A rogue American Special Forces unit schemes to smuggle $35 million worth of heroin into the United States, and all that stands in its way is border patrol agent Jack Robideaux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), an ex-homicide cop with a hidden agenda. Taking on suicide bombers, sadistic tortures and traitorous officials on both sides of the border, Jack shows no mercy as he single-handedly attempts to destroy the cartel in this explosive action thriller.

Cold Harvest - End Fight
In this Isaac Florentine production Gary Daniels and Bryan Genesse shows their talent in this section of the end fight.
Isaac is very inspirated by Hong Kong-fighting, and uses is very creative and gives it some own personality.
The movie itself, Cold Harvest, has a cool premise: post-apocalyptic western - which sets up for a lot of good action.

Special Forces - Exploding Truck
Here's a clip from Isaac Florentines popcorn-masterpiece Special Forces. It's short, but very spectacular. It's one of few times I've seen a real stuntguy so close to the actual vechicle-explosion. The wire-work is working fine to.
Isaac is one of the best DTV (so far) directors out there, and he's been showing great sense of action in this one, US Seals 2, Iceman 2, Cold Harvest and Bridge of dragons.
Often quite shallow films when it comes to characters and emotions, but very cool action and slick directing.
He's working on a Van Damme-movie now, and when we realise that Van Damme actually improved so much as an actor, that can be really good.

As usual the stuntman takes brutal falls and it looks quite dangerous. This is, according to me, and as with all Isaacs movies, in the same class as Hong Kong-flicks from the eighties.
