Soirée Silent Hill Destiny (30 avril 2006) - Musique
I have NO SHEET MUSIC of these songs, I've just picked them up by ear, so don't ask me ;) I don't have any MP3 or MIDI file either and I won't write any sheet music of it.
Me (WalterSullivan) and 2 other members (jewok & jaydeefan) of the French Silent Hill forum "Silent Hill Destiny", April 30, 2006 in Paris, for the release of "Silent Hill, the film" from Christophe Gans.
Me playing songs from Silent Hill 2: "True", "Theme of Laura (reprise)", "Promise (reprise)" and "Promise". Sorry for the mistakes.
The reason why it's played a bit faster than the original version of these songs is that I had not enough space in the memory card of my camera to record something longer, so sorry for that...

J'ai joué ces morceaux un peu plus rapidement que la version originale en raison du peu d'espace dont dispose la carte mémoire de mon appareil photo numérique qui ne me permet pas de faire des enregistrements suffisamment longs...
Pour ceux qui me demandent souvent: je n'ai PAS DE PARTITIONS pour ces chansons, je les ai juste trouvées à l'oreille. Je n'ai pas non plus de version MIDI ou MP3 de ce que je joue et je ne mettrai pas ce que je joue sur partition, donc pas la peine de me demander. Merci de votre compréhension ;)

Silent Hill - Movie Trailer #2
A complete movie trailer for the 2006 videogame adaption motion picture "Silent Hill"
Personally, I am overjoyed to know that Christophe Gans directed this and Roger Avary wrote the script. Videogame movies up to now have been extremly hit or miss. The only videogame movie I can think of that was true to its videogame yet still managed to make a decent movie was the first Mortal Kombat.
Uwe Boll is a German film director who has been notorius for making bad, atrocious, and dispicable videogame movies. Hell, all his films so far have basically been VG movie adaptions. Despite his awfulness as a director and filmmaker, he is still given the green light on VG movies. If you've seen House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, or Bloodrayne, you know just how bad this guy is.
Consider this trailer (or movie rather) a wake up call to Mr. Boll to STOP making movies. Leave good videogames and their movie adaptations to REAL professionals. We hate you and we spit at your feet!

Silent Hill (2006) - Make this go on forever
I love horror movies and really liked the atmosphere of "Silent Hill", yet I decided to make a video that doesn't include the typical scary parts.
The one thing that lingered with me after watching the movie was the (admittedly barely existent) story arch about the couple.
The fact that they were in the same place at the same time, and yet unable to reach out to each other haunted me more than the monsters did...

The first film adaptation of the popular Japanese manga series, Crying Freeman. A French-American adaptation was later released by director Christophe Gans in 1995 as Crying Freeman with Mark Dacascos in the title role. For the Hong Kong version, Canto-pop singer and actor Sam Hui was the unlikely third choice who landed the role after the director's desire to snag Andy Lau and then Yuen Biao fell through.

Bien avant qu'il ne devienne un cinéaste qui se la pète un maximum, Christophe Gans a longtemps écrit dans sa très bonne revue spécialisée dans le cinéma fantastique et d'aventure "Starfix". Parallèlement, il collaborait à l'édition d'une série de VHS "Scherzo Distribution" sortant une floppée de films rares d'horreur, de Kung Fu et autres curiosités. C'est pourquoi chacune de ces vidéos donnait droit à un spot vantant les qualités du dit magazine, avant et après la diffusion du film. Voici donc ce spot très modestement conçu mais fort joliment présenté, suivi du gingle Scherzo style "TF1" des années Giscardiennes.
