Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) Fan Club Event Pt 6
Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.6 -- May 26, 1991 Matthew Ashford begins with his impersonation of Michael Sabatino (Lawrence) in preparation for a scene on Days. He and Gregory get closer as they act out a scene from the show of Lawrence and Kimberley in his guest bedroom. He warmly welcomes the woman who wins the script they are reading from. George Jenesky (Nick) comes up to help him dish out another prize which is his program from the Soap Opera Digest awards from when he won. They are flipping through the leaflet looking for Matt's picture in it when Matt says, "Hey, that's me... A Martinez (Cruz, Santa Barbara) right there..." Matt and George move on to reading from a script together from June 10th, 1991. They're playing a scene between Dr. Ralph, Matt as Carly Manning, and George is playing Bo Brady.

Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.8 -- May 26, 1991 At the conclusion of this great fan event tape, the fun gets a little more outrageous with talk of about Matt's script from the Cruise of Deception regarding the now infamous diaphragm... Matthew gets a slight bit more serious as he begins to discuss his personal feelings regarding the show's attempt to disregard the importance of that illusive diaphragm once they were off the ship. I love it when he gets serious... If you ever wanted to hear an actor's thoughts on something so personal, Matthew's comments are some for the books. Now, with that out of the way, Wayne Heffley steps up to join Matthew on stage. Matthew ends the event by closing with thanks to many people who helped organize the event. And he and his wife bid a personal farewell to the viewers of the tape.

I had only seen Matt singing once before and that was his portrayal of Jack Deveraux awkwardly singing "Wonderful, Wonderful"... Looking on as the show proceeds is Matthew's buddies Wayne and George, his co-stars on Days.

Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.7 -- May 26, 1991 George Jenesky (Nick) really gets into a little comedy with Matt during this portion of the show. They are continuing to read from a script in which George is playing the part of Bo, and Matt is playing the part of Carly Manning. They send the audience into numerous oohs and aahs... Coming up to the stage now is the actor who played Dave, the lifetime waiter on Days. He's coming to do his unique impersonation of Julie. Just hilarious! The actor who played Johnnie Corelli joins him and starts doing his impersonation of Tanner Scoffield (Gruff voice and all...) in a scene that discusses the ever-delightful Molly whom he had an interest in during that time period. All the throughout their skit, George is holding a bouquet of flowers to Dave's head in a mock head dress of sorts that Julie might have worn.

Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) Fan Club Event Pt 2
Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.2 -- May 26, 1991 Matthew Ashford spends the first few minutes of this part poking fun of himself as the flamboyant Wanda during the Alamain adventures. Wayne Heffley (Vern) gets a hold of the microphone next and enjoys a few minutes at Matt's expense. Matthew laughingly sits on the floor, ever patient to get the microphone back. Matthew then enjoys a laugh over Joe Campanella (Harper) portraying the ghost of his former self in Bermuda shorts. He discusses some of the special effects used in the ghostly apparitions. There is a good close-up shot of both (George Jenesky) Nick and Johnnie Corelli from the show. The discussion then turns towards the fans dissention with the storyline of Jack and Jennifer on the show. A round of applause goes up when Emmy announces her character will be leaving the show and the story of Bo and Carly. Charlotte Ross (Eve Donovan) shares a pretty funny story regarding an uncomfortable question asked by a fan. The infamous Jack and Jennifer shower scene is discussed by Matt. Part 2 of 8

Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.4 -- May 26, 1991 This clip begins with a cute joke regarding George's (Nick Corelli's) need for coffee before Matt and Chrisina sing their final number for the audience. After a lovely kiss for his wife at the end of the song, the night moves on with a few moments from Frank Parker (Shawn Brady) whose scene appears to have been cut short. Frank talks with Matthew regarding his heritage and a few funny stories from his past at which point Matt chimes in with a cute joke of his own and they hug and sends the crowd into cheering. George (Nick) causes a fit of laughter in the audience when he picks on Johnnie Corelli just a little. Matt answers a few more questions from the audience regarding his on screen mother Jo who was incarcerated in Bayview for murder at the time. The final clips are of Matthew bungee jumping... Funny stuff!

Days of Our Lives Fan Event Pt.5 -- May 26, 1991 After showing the audience his clip of bungee jumping in the last video, Matt starts describing his experience in very funny detail. Everyone is starting to get a little giddy at this point as a raffle begins and Matt changes his tie and unbuttons his jacket. He and Johnnie Corelli start having a little fun playing with their equipment! LOL! The first raffle is for his Win, Lose or Draw picture that artist on the show created. Gregory from Alamania comes up to draw for the next prize winner. Gregory has some hilarious moments talking about his first experiences meeting Matt in some of his various costumes from that time period. They begin reading from a script in which Matt is Jack and Gregory plays the part of Jennifer which is just absolutely priceless! The script goes on to a scene involving Kimberley and Lawrence Alamain. At this point, Matt does his impersonation of Michael Sabatino (Lawrence).
