Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bid Video - Here I Am (Bryan Adams)
Here is the final bid video, shown to the International Olympic Committee before the 2010 host city vote during the Final Bid Presentation on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Prague, Czech Republic.
Two videos featuring Bryan Adams "Here I Am" were shown to the IOC on that day. The first video, called "Our Home", showed images of what our cities were and offered. The second video, called "Our Dream", featured images of Olympic livery in the city (e.g. Olympic rings on Burrard Street and Lions Gate Bridges). Each of these videos were about 5-minutes long, and together cost $250,000 to produce. They were very well-received videos, and were also the best bid videos shown to the IOC out of all three bids. The 2010 bid videos were said to have motivated some IOC delegates to vote for Vancouver, which won the 2010 Games at the end of the day.
The video we have here on YouTube is a shortened video by the 2010 bid committee, given to the IOC during their Bid Evaluation Visit in March 2003, and was shown around the world during the broadcasted 2010 Host City Announcement Ceremony.

Bryan Adams OC, OBC, (born 5 November 1959) is a English-Canadian rock singer, guitarist, songwriter and photographer. Some of his best-known albums are Reckless, 18 til I Die, and Waking Up the Neighbours.
Adams was awarded the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia for his contribution to popular music and his philanthropic work. He was also inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 1998, and more recently inducted into the Music Hall of Fame at Canada's Juno Awards in April 2006. Where Angels Fear To Tread - Peter to Wendy (Bryan Adams)
Aw, Bryan Adams usually makes me so emotional as I became his fan when I was only a child, but this song itself really is especially touching, if you ask me. And I hope the video does enough justice to it. There are 2 love quotes in the end, the first one in the few last clips and the second one in a final still picture before the end credits. I just thought they'd go well as the ending for a video and couple like this. (:
PS. I find the title line of this song, ("You've found a way inside my head, where even angels fear to tread."), somewhat amusing but true. I don't think there are too many who would really make it for a longer relationship with someone so confused, stubborn and messed up as Peter Pan. It takes a soulmate to make it work in that kind of situation. And she was.
