The Last Mimzy Trailer

Opening March 23 and based on Lewis Padgett's 1943 short story "Mimsy Were the Borogoves," The Last Mimzy is a sci-fi tale of two children who discover a mysterious box that contains some strange devices they think are toys. The more the children play with the toys, the more they begin to display higher levels of intelligence as well as telekinetic powers. Although their parents are increasingly alarmed by their children's peculiar behavior, it is not until a blackout shuts down the city and is traced to the children's home that the real magnitude of their brain activity and power is unearthed.

The Last Mimzy features an ensemble cast that includes Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People, General's Daughter), Joely Richardson (The Patriot, Nip/Tuck), Rainn Wilson (The Office), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile), and newcomers Rhiannon Leigh Wryn and Chris O'Neil as the children, Emma and Noah.

We Never Danced - song from the movie Made In Heaven

A Neil Young song covered by The Motels in the movie.
Neil Young released his original version on the 1987 Neil Young album LIFE. This track was produced by Jack Nitzsche (who also produced Expecting To Fly) and has some beautiful string arrangements. I believe it was made for the 1987 movie "Made In Heaven" starring Timothy Hutton and Kelly McGillis. The song is featured in the movie as part of the story line and Neil Young actually has a cameo appearance as a truck driver where he asks the hitchhiker where he's going and he responds 'I don't know'. Neil's line is "If you don't really know where you wanna go then it makes no difference which road you take" which is a lyric in this song. Then he drives off in the big rig. Tom Petty and Ric Ocasek also do cameos in this movie.

Anyway, here's my solo acoustic rendition

Wake Up Call-- Mort and Amy

Hi All! Sorry about such a long wait in between vids. Life's been crazy!

Anyway, I love storyline vids and I was never able to do a really good one. But I think I found the solution.
So here's the storyline:

Mort kills Ted when he finds out about he and Amy. Because of that Amy won't take him back no matter how much he begs.

I used some effects that I didn't know I could use in this vid. So I hope you all enjoy it. Please pardon the song jump toward the end I had to edit the music. It was too long.

Made in Heaven homage

Made in Heaven homage

This is my personal homage to a movie that is very close to me.
After many years I keep looking for the soundtrack and I've decide to
include here several scenes and the entire beautiful song "We've never Danced"
This movie, thier actors (Timothy Hutton and Kelly Mc Gillis) and the very
extensive number of cameos (Ric Ocasek, Tom Petty and more) is one of my
best moments at a movie Theather.

We've Never Danced"
Written by Neil Young
Performed by Martha Davis

Between heaven and earth
There's a ballroom floor
Where the couples glide
In the evermore.

Floating through the clouds
Dancing in the rain
Eyes that see no lies
Hearts that feel no pain.

Hope it's not too late
We were more than friends
I can hardly wait
'Til we meet again.

If you don't really know
Where you want to go
It makes no difference
Which road you take.

Hope it's not too late
We were more than friends
I can hardly wait
'Til we meet again.

We never danced
We never danced
We never danced
the night away.

We never danced
We never danced
We never danced
the night away.

Hauns Go West - Coon Dog Cemetery

Renowned East Tennessee farrier Tim Hutton narrates this short documentary about the world's only coon dog cemetery. In 1937, "Troop" was the first canine to be buried in what is now known as the "Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard." Located in Colbert County, Alabama, more than 185 coon dogs from all across the United States are buried in this spot. To qualify for burial in this unique cemetery, dogs must meet three requirements:
1) The owner must claim their pet is an authentic coon dog.
2) A witness must declare the deceased is a coon dog.
3) A member of the local coonhunters' organization must be allowed to view the coonhound and declare it as such.
