The Thin Blue Line - "Court in the Act" (1/4
In part 1: Grim and Boyle want to bring in notorious drug dealer "Harry the Spike", but don't have any evidence. They decide to plant some.
Meanwhile, in the briefing room, Constable Goody thinks he's the next Kate Moss and is modelling a rather fetching new uniform.
The PCs go to Harry the Spike's house and raid it - the planted evidence in place. Unaware the drugs are planted, Goody finds them and they are taken as evidence.

In part 3: Goody still doesn't "get it", but Inspector Fowler has an appointment with the Mayoress (who he fancies) so gives up.
Later, however, Goody says something very stange to Frank and Maggie, and Grim is having a crisis of concience - could something be amis?

The Thin Blue Line - "Court in the Act" (4/4
In part 4: Fowler and Habib question Goody about the drugs he found, as they suspect CID have planted them. When Fowler discovers that Harry the Spike will be arrested on false evidence, he tips off his defence council about something that could throw the case.
When the trial is in progress, Goody, unsurprisingly, is in tears again. Fowler's tip-off works, and the case is void.

Full Monty DVD Review
This is my review of the film called The Full Monty released back in 1997.
The Full Monty is a 1997 Academy Award-winning British comedy film. It tells the story of six unemployed steel workers who decide to form a male striptease act. Despite being a comedy, the film also touches on serious subjects such as unemployment, fathers' rights, depression and attempted suicide.
The Full Monty is set in Sheffield, England, and stars Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, William Snape, Steve Huison, Tom Wilkinson, Paul Barber, and Hugo Speer. The screenplay by Simon Beaufoy was adapted from an original story by co-producer Paul Bucknor. The film was directed by Peter Cattaneo.

In part 1: The officers of Gasforth are to police a football match, and everybody is rather excited - except, of course, for Constable Goody, who is in training to be a Gladiator.
Gasforth win the match - but only because the other team's goalie got food poisining from the burger van.

In part 1: Grim is angry with Fowler because he hasn't issued any firearms certificates in the last few years.
Back in the briefing room, the officers discuss television. Goody thinks that crime on TV is better than in real life, but Fowler disagrees. Then he gets a fax inviting Gasforth Police Station to take part in a documentary.

In part 1: The ladies' locker room is out of order, so the men have to share their room with the girls. Nobody is too happy about this (with the possible exception of Constable Goody, who can't believe he'll be changing in the same room as Maggie!). Also, Pat is getting into alternative healing.

In part 4: Fowler attempts in vain to train his officers in the use of riot gear.
Pat gets her own back on the builders by arresting them, Grim and Boyle arrest some "skin-heads" they suspect of plotting trouble, and Goody, Fowler and Habib arrest a group of people for partying too loudly. Guess what - between them, the Gasforth Police Force have managed to arrest the entire of Gasforth Football Team - so the match is lost.
