Roland Kickinger '89 First Contest in US
I did a show in 1989 and there was a competitor who looked and acted just like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He had just moved to the US from Austria and this was his first show in the states, the Miami Metro Natural Bodybuilding Championships. He was so similar to Arnold it was scary, from his posing routine, trunks, music, etc. even down to the way he walked and talked. The emcee asked him to speak after his routine so everyone could hear him. People who saw him at the prejudging chanted "Arnold" at the night show. This unknown guy at the time, Roland Kickinger, eventually became an IFBB pro and then became a TV and movie star. Here he is back in '89 competing in a small drug tested show in Miami. I apologize for the quality of the video but that is one old tape!
