MARK 13 (1990) - Trailer
In a radioactive wasteland, a mysterious zone tripper discovers the remains of cyborg Mark 13; a highly advanced killing machine. He sells it to Mo (Dylan McDermott), a scrap merchant, who, in turn, presents the find to his seductive girlfriend Jill (Stacey Travis). Trapped in her apartment, Jill becomes terrified when Mark 13 suddenly reconstructs itself utilizing household appliances and goes on a bloody rampage. Directed by Richard Stanley.

The Tenants Movie Trailer
THE TENANTS is based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize-Winning author Bernard Malamud, whose other adapted works into film include THE FIXER and THE NATURAL. A socio-political piece set in an abandoned New York apartment building in the early 1970s, It is the story of a Jewish novelist, Harry Lesser, struggling to complete his latest work, and his antagonistic relationship with a black writer who moves in down the hall. The film stars Dylan McDermott, Snoop Dogg, Rose Byrne and Seymour Cassel and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, 2005.
THE TENANTS is the story of two writers, the Lesser, Jewish-American, and Willie, African-American. The setting is an abandoned New York tenement in 1972. The last remaining tenant, Lesser works on his novel about the possibility of love. He befriends Willie, an illegal squatter, in the building and tries to help him with his writing. Their first argument occurs when Lesser criticizes Willie's immature and "black" writing style.
Lesser meets Willie's white girlfriend Irene. The two fall in love and Irene leaves Willie. In revenge, Willie burns the only manuscript of Lesser's novel that has taken almost ten years to write.
There is then a climactic life-and-death struggle, carried out with raw violence, between Lesser and Willie. As our story ends, in the words of Malamud, "Each, thought the writer, feels the other's anguish" is the last line of Lesser's novel.
and the meaning is clear - communication and cooperation between the races has failed.

Bono honored with Liberty Medal
Hello on this Friday, September 28. 2007. I'm Rebecca Field with a UPI entertainment update.
U2's Bono was honored for his humanitarian work last night. The singer received the Liberty Medal in Philadelphia. The award honors those who have contributed to a cause around the world. Previous recipients include Nelson Mandela, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Kofi Annan. Bono co-founded the DATA organization....spreading awareness on AIDS and poverty in Africa.
Actress Melissa Joan Hart is preparing for baby number 2. Her rep says she's expecting with her husband Mark Wilkerson. The actress is apparently four months along. The pair married in 2003 and already have a son Mason who is almost 2 years old. Hart is known for her role on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and is currently filming a new lifetime movie.
Actress Farrah Fawcett is reportedly seeking cancer treatment in Germany. The actress is apparently receiving "alternative treatments" in the country and may make a documentary about her experiences. There's no details on the forms of therapy she's getting. Fawcett was diagnosed with anal Cancer in 2006 but with chemotherapy, it disappeared for a while. Doctors found it had returned in May.
Actor Dylan McDermott and his wife are apparently separating. The actor's rep tells People magazine he and Shiva Rose are taking some time apart after 12 years of marriage. The two have 2 daughters together... 11-year-old Collette and 2-year-old Charlotte. Most recently McDermott is starring in the new ABC show "Big Shots."
It was a star studded red carpet last night at the premiere of a new romantic comedy. Ben Stilller stars in the new film "The Heartbreak Kid"...he was there with his wife actress Christine Taylor. Also starring in the film... Ben's Dad Jerry Stiller, Michelle Monaghan, and Malin Akerman. The movie is about a newlywed man who finds himself meeting another woman on his honeymoon. It hits most theaters next Friday.

There is evidence to suggest that children are highly susceptible to paranormal phenomenon. They can see what adults cannot, they believe what adults deny. And they are trying to warn us. In THE MESSENGERS, a suspense thriller starring Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott, Penelope Anne Miller and John Corbett, the Solomon family has left big city life for a secluded farm in North Dakota. Soon after they arrive at their new home, 16 year-old Jess and her 3 year-old brother begin seeing ominous apparitions that no one else can see, and are repeatedly attacked by something from the other side. Now they must try desperately to warn the rest of the family before it's too late.
THE MESSENGERS is directed by the Pang Brothers (The Eye, Bangkok Dangerous), produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, William Sherak and Jason Shuman, and written by Mark Wheaton, from a story by Todd Farmer.

Anyway, this is my first Jacob/Bella video. Romantically, I am an Edward/Bella fan, but I really enjoyed Bella and Jacob's friendship in New Moon, and I thought this song was too perfect for them to pass up. It's all about how Edward leaves Bella, and she is devastated. Bella turns to Jacob since he is the only one she can really be around. With him, she starts to heal.
