A Hole In My Heart
Unofficial trailer for "A Hole In My Heart".
"In a perfect world, this movie would not be made" says Lukas Moodysson about his movie, "A Hole In My Heart", in which the report is all about tenderness.
Coming to this creation, I tried in a sense to reflect the enduring texture of this soulful movie and thought opus 19 of Mendelssohn's 'Lieder ohne Worte' would be the right underscore to describe its tenderness and separately, I did not try to deal with loathsome scenes, not to give them more attention than enough.
Masterpieces cannot get behind the eyes at the first moment, unless the eyes let them.

Strata - Cocaine, "Strata Presents the End of The World"
Inspired by the 2004 film "A Hole in My Heart" by acclaimed Swedish writer/director Lukas Moodysson; aspiring filmmaker and fan Jonas Christiansson pieced together an experimental music video project using video footage from the movie, and the song "Cocaine" by artists Strata.
The 3 minute project is an eye opening series of intense scenes that showcase the raw cinematic talents of Moodysson and blend in a dark pop style sound from Strata's recently released album "Strata Presents the end of the world." With respect to both artists, Jonas tries to reinforce a subliminal message found in both mediums.
The name Lukas Moodysson is slowly gaining a cult-like following in the US. Moodysson's previous films include "Show me Love", "Together", and "Lilya 4-Ever". These are just a few of the masterpieces that capture everything hollywood overlooks. Moodysson is currently filming his first english speaking film entitled "Mammut" starring Michelle Williams and Gael Garcia Bernal, scheduled to be released in fall 2008.

A brief Summary from the great wikipedia:
Together is set in one of the communes that sprung up around Stockholm in the 1970s. Vaguely led by the sweet natured Göran, who will do anything to avoid a conflict, the group spend their time arguing about left wing politics and other questions such as whether doing the washing up is bourgeois. The commune's dynamics are significantly shaken when Göran's sister leaves her violent husband Rolf and moves in with her two children, Eva and Stefan.
Self-declared lesbian Anna lives in the commune with her ex-husband Lasse and their son Tet who befriends Stefan playing games such as "torture the Pinochet victim" where, in the spirit of equality, they take turns at being Pinochet. Eva meanwhile befriends a lonely boy across the street, whose own family whilst being as conventional as possible on the surface, proves to be even more dysfunctional than the commune of whom they so openly disapprove. The children are portrayed as sidelined by everyone in the film, from the new school where they are bullied to the parents who, whilst genuinely loving, are too busy experimenting with their own freedom to show it.
Elisabeth's husband Rolf makes a concerted effort to clean up his act, although not before getting drunk and abandoning his children on a roadside after a disastrous meal in a Chinese restaurant. Further relationship problems are found with Klas who is desperately in love with Lasse and between Göran and his selfish and immature girlfriend who wants the benefits of an open relationship but not the responsibilities.
The film ends on a feel good note played out to ABBA where (almost) all of the characters find the love they need amongst each other.
