Ryan Phillippe looked adorably fatherly hand in hand with Deacon earlier this week on the way to karate, where he's still working toward his yellow belt. Despite not being nominated, Ryan and Abbie frequent award show afterparties, and last night they got a head start on the weekend at two different pre-Oscar bashes. The festivities will only get bigger here from before and after the Oscars on Sunday.

Ryan Phillippe ran errands in LA yesterday with Ava trailing right behind. Earlier in the week he hit the town with Abbie Cornish at a Grammys after party but now he's back to playing doting dad to his kids. Although Ryan looked rather serious, he appeared to crack a smile when he noticed he was clearly putting those fellow shopping ladies in a great mood.

Ryan Phillippe headed out solo to do some grocery shopping in LA earlier this week. Instead of his usual Philadelphia Eagles hat, he was sporting his hometown pride on his t-shirt. Despite his football team's success in making it to the National League championship this weekend with a chance to head to the Super Bowl, Ryan looked a little less chipper than usual - maybe he was just missing his regular companion.

As usual, the couple stayed quiet about their relationship when reporters asked them questions last night, although Abbie did admit it was "wonderful" to introduce Ryan to her native country.

After spending Thanksgiving with Deacon, Ava and Abbie, Ryan Phillippe was doing some traveling solo departing from LAX earlier this week. Ryan is rumored to be setting off to Australia to visit Abbie's home with her — since they're getting so serious these days it's no surprise that they're already splitting up family time over the holidays. We know he and Reese have the kids' schedules down to a science making sure Ava and Deacon know that their parents love them both most of all.

Ryan was one of the many celebrities who endorsed President-Elect Obama, and he also continues to show his support for the Phillies. The actor made sure to vote and now that everything has turned out like he wanted it to in the election and the World Series, it looks like Ryan has a lot to be thankful for as he gears up for a special Thanksgiving with Abbie and his family.

Ryan took Abbie to Vegas for her bikini birthday celebration in August, but apparently his own early September bash was a little lonely with his girl off in Australia. Luckily it looks like Ryan's got his posse of favorite people back by his side, and maybe a belated celebration will also help cheer up the now 34 year old.

What's even more interesting is that her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe will be duking it out with boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal for the Choice Movie Actor in a Drama award. While Ryan has already wished Reese and Jake the best, it could make for a slightly awkward night if everyone shows up to the award ceremony.

Kanye West took the stage in LA last night to show off his "Glow in the Dark" tour for a few of his Hollywood fans. On the eve of her album release, Ashlee and Pete gave their maybe baby a little bit of music culture, while Ryan Phillippe enjoyed the fun by his lonesome. Gwen and Gavin were also in the house, as well as Chris Brown — out to see opening act Rihanna especially? — but they managed to stay tucked away from the cameras in the crowd. Jamie Foxx also kept a low profile in the audience; wonder if he brought the post-party to his special table at Les Deux? Poor Kanye must be having a rough week with his recent split from his fiancée, but hearing his fans cheer him on night after night can only help to keep that smile on his face.

Ryan Phillippe isn't usually a sunshine and rainbows kinda guy, but he was looking particularly down both at the airport and at the gym this week. It wasn't exactly the greatest weekend for him since his Stop-Loss bombed at the box office. There's also the whole Reese and Jake trip to Cabo — even though Ryan said he was happy for his ex-wife, seeing Jake vacationing with his little ones has to hurt just a little. To top it all off, Ryan's name is being dragged into headlines thanks to Jay Leno's gay jokes which made even Ryan uncomfortable. Jay has since apologized but it's kind of sad that no one will remember Ryan's appearance on the show for anything other than this controversy now.
