Usher and his fiancée, Tameka Jones, suddenly canceled their wedding, which was scheduled to take place yesterday at LA Reid's mansion in the Hamptons. Back in June, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child this fall, but apparently their shotgun nuptials proved to be a bit too much to handle. Usher's rep released this statement:
"It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."
There's no word as to whether or not Usher and Tameka are still together at all or, obviously, why they called their big day. I assume we'll hear more as this story develops.

It looks like Usher's got it bad for the altar.
Much to the lament of his female fanbase, the R&B superstar with the six-pack abs will be leaving his bachelor days behind, after getting engaged to his girlfriend, stylist Tameka Foster, sources confirmed to E! News.
No word exactly when Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond, popped the question or when the twosome will tie the knot. A rep for the 29-year-old singer has declined to comment on various media reports.
But the first clear sign Usher has taken himself off the market came when he turned up at last Monday's NAACP Theatre Image Awards in Beverly Hills and accepted his Spirit Award onstage by thanking Foster and introducing her as his "fiance." Foster, 37, has also been spotted about town recently sporting a celebrity-sized rock on her ring finger.
The couple have been an item for a year. They first met back in 2004 when Foster was a stylist on Usher's Truth tour.
