The adorable Mark Ruffalo took his new daughter, Odette, out for lunch with Ethan Hawke yesterday. There's nothing cuter than seeing a man proudly show off his bundled up baby of joy. While Mark doesn't look like he's lost much sleep over his newborn, poor Ethan looks like he has.
More good news for Mark. Even though Reservation Road turned out not to be a huge hit, you all voted Zodiac as best thriller of the year. You win some, you lose some, and it looks like Mark is ending the year on a big upside considering that cute grin he's sporting for the cameras.

Jakey did TRL yesterday and seemed to be blissfully unaware that Mark Ruffalo is talking some major trash! While we would usually take Jake's side in this because - well, we love him - Mark is cute too and he makes some strong points. Still, it's hard to believe Jake would have showed up to work without memorizing his lines! So at this point we'll try to stay neutral and hope that Jake takes the high road rather than firing back (or perhaps think he was referring to someone else). We'd hate to see tensions flare up on the Zodiac premiere red carpet!
In the meantime, you can enjoy the fact that Jake was totally on his game for TRL so just

Jake just loves wearing this sweater, and why not? It looks great but we prefer it off so we can see more of him. Jake has a cool new movie coming out in early March called Zodiac. It's the true story of a serial killer who terrorized the SF Bay Area in the 60's and 70's. Jake plays a cartoonist at the Chronicle who gets obsessed with the case. The film also stars some of our other favorite men, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, and it's directed by David Fincher (Se7en) so it's got to be good.
