After over a year of dating, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have broken up. Apparently they were having issues coordinating their social lives, and it sounds like their age difference was also becoming an issue. Last month many of you were still creeped out by their relationship, so tell us - are you happy that Hayden and Milo have split?

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia recently started working on Heroes again and they can't stay away from one another. This time they're on a break but still dressed in character — or at least we hope so considering all that grease in his hair and her wig. Hayden recently chopped off her long locks, which seems to be the thing to do this Summer (Reese, Gwyneth, Anne, etc.). It's been way too long since we've last watched Heroes but seeing creep-y Milo and Hayden getting cozy between takes makes me want to move on.

We've already heard about how much Milo Ventimiglia loves his girlfriend Hayden's GQ spread, so naturally he had no problem getting an eyeful of her new ads at an event for Candie's in LA on Thursday night. Inside the party, the model herself rubbed elbows with the likes of Kristin Cavallari. These two probably had plenty to talk about, since they share an ex boyfriend, but it looks like there weren't any hard feelings between them. Now that Hayden has moved onward and upward, maybe the two wavy blondes shared a few jokes about their similar love interest.

With Heroes on hiatus, Milo Ventimiglia has plenty of free time on his hands to play dress up for GQ. He's looking better as a business exec with his Wayfarers and tie clip than with his silly date night bow tie. Speaking of romance, Milo naturally had to field questions about his relationship with Hayden, and even though we've accepted these two as a couple, it all still feels a bit creepy. Here are highlights:

• It seems like you’ve aged a decade since the first season of ‘Heroes.’ What gives?
  Going through my twenties playing a teenager was kind of rough. I just finally put on a little man-weight. My face changed. Nothing I could do about it, man. It was a f*cking train I could not stop.
• Right, HALO. That’s what the blogs are calling you and Hayden. Does the nickname bug you?
  You know what, man—it makes me smile.
• If you two are dating, why not just say so?
  When you’re in the public eye, you try to keep whatever you can private. People can speculate and talk. But what can you do—stop living your life?
• Hayden was GQ’s Obsession of the Year. Did you like those photos?
  Yes, I did. They were very nice.

Maybe it's just us, but Milo ogling those pics of Hayden in her underwear isn't exactly what we want to envision when we think about cute Peter Petrelli. Do we just need to get over it, or are you still kinda skeeved out as well?

We were starting to wonder whether Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia were still involved in their semi-illicit relationship. We only saw them looking couple-y together once and she did spend her Valentine's Day with her family, after all. But it looks like the answer is yes and the two were very gussied up for a private party in LA on Saturday night. Of course both of them looked impeccable for the fancy pants event, but there's something about Milo in that tuxedo (especially with the bowtie) that makes it look like he works for her? Just saying.

With no Milo Ventimiglia in sight, Hayden Panettiere had a much younger man, her brother Jansen, on her arm at the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles in LA last night. Hayden's still a family girl at heart, but earlier this week that backfired a bit. At Wednesday's Old Navy party mom Panettiere's dress was a little too risqué for her daughter's taste and Hayden had to leave the dance floor in order to try and keep her mother decent. We all know what it's like to be embarrassed of your parents, but let's hope that Mrs. Panettiere doesn't turn into a party mom.
