Some of our favorite Gossip kids, Chace Crawford and Michelle Trachtenberg, were just a few of the stars out at the Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA, yesterday for the Dodge Challenger Celebrity Drag Race. They were joined by the likes of Audrina Patridge in her badass outfit, who has already demonstrated her need for speed on the back of Justin Bobby's motorcycle, as well as Carmen Electra, who posed with her fiancé and Luke Wilson. As for David Spade, well, he just made silly faces on the sidelines, and Snoop looked cool as ever, so nothing new there.

While the afternoon took a noticeably somber turn as the news of Heath Ledger's tragic death spread over snowy Park City, the morning was for celebrating as Oscar nomination news came to Sundance. While a lot of the celebrities left with the end of MLK day weekend, there was still swag to be scored for some of them. I was lucky enough to stop by the Pure & Natural Celebrity Eco-Retreat and Iconix "Gift Giving For A Cause" Suite benefiting Save the Children to see all the goodies the celebrities have been snatching up as souvenirs. I also ducked into the Wireimage portrait studio thanks to our friends over there and while I didn't get any big celebrity sightings, I was right on the trail of so many of them who have stopped through to pose.

Mischa and Audrina were definitely enjoying the goodies while Diddy was more about pimping his vodka than taking home free stuff. Luke Wilson was looking scruffy, but hopefully his movie luck has turned since BuzzSugar had only good things to say about his movie at the festival, Henry Poole is Here. I'm headed home to slightly warmer SF tonight, but there's a lot more Sundance to come!

Luke Wilson and Tea Leoni premiered their new film, You Kill Me in LA last night. Luke's film Vacancy came and went but hopefully You Kill Me will be more popular. The film stars Ben Kingsley as an alcoholic hit man who is sent out to the West Coast to dry out. Luke plays his gay AA sponsor and Tea is the love interest. It hits the theaters June 22 so click here to check out the trailer. If this film isn't for you then there's always his August release with Jessica Simpson, Blonde Ambition, but we're still a little shocked he signed on to that one.

Jessica Simpson and John may have broken up just a few days ago, but she's already shaking things up - like almost immediately dying her hair back to blonde (right in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival, no less). Country music's finest came out for the Academy of Country Music Awards last night in Vegas. Kenny Chesney took his third consecutive entertainer of the year honor while, among the many American Idol alums, only Carrie took home an award -- album of the year for Some Hearts. For a list of all the winners just click here. Carrie didn't forget to thank the show that made her a star either. She said, "I would not be here if it were not for American Idol." It was also a big night for Carrie because she went officially public with her boyfriend, Cowboy's QB Tony Romo who cheered her on from the audience. Congrats to all the winners!
