Reese Witherspoon layered up for her walk around LA yesterday. Her Monsters vs. Aliens is hitting theaters on March 27, and she's already said to have her next project lined up. Both Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson are in talks to star opposite Reese in an upcoming film where she'd be at the center of a love triangle. It sounds like an interesting plot, but of course in real life Reese seems to be content with the affections of just one guy.

Kate Hudson was pretty sure of her skills paddle surfing in sweats off the coast of Malibu yesterday. Luckily, she didn't fall in, just enjoyed her ride. You all were pretty split on how you feel about Kate and Owen Wilson being back together, but we still have high hopes for the blonde actors avoiding heartbreak again. Their love of the beach is just one thing Kate and Owen have in common and we'll see if there's enough to keep these two paddling strong this time around.

Despite the chilly temperatures in LA this week, Owen Wilson took his shirt off for a brisk dip in the ocean. Hitting the beach is clearly one of his favorite activities, but instead of having a hot lady friend by his side, this time he brought his dog along. Jennifer Aniston is the one on the cover of all the magazines promoting their upcoming Marley & Me, but at least Owen's getting into the spirit of the film by showing his appreciation for canine companionship.

Owen Wilson got to walk Jennifer Aniston down the red carpet in her hot LBD, but it was John Mayer who got to take her home after the premiere of Marley & Me last night. Though he was out to play supportive boyfriend along with friends like Courteney Cox, the media had plenty of questions for John. The hot topic of the night was Jen's sexy GQ spread, and John joked, "I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here. No, don't make me hold it — you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die." When asked about the cover herself, Jen said that she "wasn't trying to make a statement," but it sounds like her photos had a pretty big effect on her man of choice.

A very happy Jennifer Aniston was on Oprah today to catch up and talk about everything that has been rehashed this week — the Vogue interview, how Brad's doing these days, and her Angelina quotes. Jennifer admitted that she thinks the cover doesn't do the interview justice (we agree) and when asked whether she's dating John Mayer she answered "yes." She also denied pregnancy rumors and chatted with her costar Owen Wilson via satellite. The best part, other than Norman, might be her talking the election night cake that John blogged about earlier this week. Here's highlights:

• On the election: "I'm so happy to be in Chicago. The energy coming here, you can feel [it]. It's just amazing. . . We knew it was getting closer and closer, and then it was that realization of 'Oh my God, this is such a historical moment. [The Obama cake] is not like it's my grandmother's ancient recipe from the old country—it's definitely a Duncan Hines. Don't mess with perfection."
• On the Vogue cover: "The content [of the story] does not reflect the cover," she says. "[Jonathan] asked me a question, and I basically just answered it as honestly as I could."
• On Marley & Me: "For the first time I'm not the girl wanting the guy. It was a portrait of a marriage, and it was just an important experience for me. I really loved every minute of it."The character Jennifer portrays represents many real women, she says. "You get to that place in your life and you realize, 'I have to make a choice,' because either your work is suffering or your children and your family are suffering," she says. "It's not just a happy dog movie. It really does touch on some life issues that are not necessarily fun."
• On her dog Norman: "I think Norman, having now been on Oprah and being in Vogue magazine, I think I'm cutting him off."

Owen Wilson spent his Halloween weekend in Hawaii, on the Maui beach with a bikini-clad friend yesterday. While he's been relaxing and staying out of the spotlight for the most part, his Marley and Me costar Jennifer Aniston has been singing his praises. She said, "Owen Wilson is so divine in this film. I've never seen him play a part like this. He was a man; he was a husband; he was a father. And I feel like, how brave of him, to walk through the year that he walked through, and still show up so wholeheartedly for the film." The movie trailer looks funny and sweet, and now we're even more excited to see Jen and Owen playing parents together on the big screen.
