OSCAR-nominated Abigail Breslin is only a kid. A hot age 12. Yet for her current "Kit Kittredge: An Ameri can Girl," she's getting more p.r. than Angelina Jolie. And she hasn't even been married once yet. Chris O'Donnell, who plays her father in...

While the lucky and nominated were at the big Oscar show, some of the rest of the A-List partied the night away at Elton John's annual soiree to watch the awards. The shocker of the evening was that newly singleSean Penn showed up with Petra Nemcova on his arm. Seriously? Seriously. Ugh, moving on ... Elton was the ultimate host as usual to the crowd that included Kate and Len, Tara Reid, and (pregnant?) Minnie. Chace and JC Chasez are apparently BFFs these days. I'm sure these Academy Awards were a little less stressful for Ellen DeGeneres who hosted the big show last year but got to relax by Portia's side and hopefully enjoy the champagne this time around. Meanwhile, did Diddy do the red carpet at the Oscars and then drive straight to the Elton party to watch the show? While none of these party-goers went home with little gold men, they surely celebrated enough for all those who did.

While the Golden Globes show is canceled this year, last night's Critics' Choice Awards brought out some A-Listers in LA. The stars all looked great on the red carpet and inside got down to honoring each other. The writers' strike was the topic of the night, but there were still some light hearted moments up on stage. Katie Holmes looked fabulous (in her toga) giving out an award while Angelina and Brad were ever the popular kids fielding visits at their table from Clooney/Queen Latifah and Casey Affleck. Javier really ran away with the show at the end up three times in a row to accept for himself, the Coens and the movie. He got in an anti-Bush jab, but his real acceptance speech was totally sweet. Check out the full list of winners on Buzz and then get to voting in our Golden Globes ballot. Just because the show won't be the same, we're still here for the fun and prizes!

Chris O'Donnell was looking almost as dreamy as his Circle of Friends/Mad Love days last night at a screening of his new TNT miniseries The Company in LA. Chris hasn't had excellent luck on TV series in recent years (either written off or all together canceled), but I do love seeing those baby blues back on the small screen. This new show which premieres August 5, is directed by Ridley Scott and centers around the double lives of Cold War Era CIA agents. It sound interesting, but anything that helps keep Chris in our living rooms for at least a little while longer is fine by me.
