Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon were among the presenters at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in NYC last night, where outlets such as CNN.com, the NY Times, and GQ were all applauded for their work this year. When Barbara Walters was honored for her reporting on transgendered children she said, "You can forget all the Emmys . . . this means more to me." Randy Jackson took a break from American Idol mode to make it to the award ceremony and present as well. Tim Gunn was one of our favorite faces at the event, who happily sang the praises of Christian Siriano, calling him the Marc Jacobs of Christian's generation. Quite the bold statement, but we wouldn't be surprised if Christian starts raking in the awards himself in the future.
ALAN Cumming knows how to party. The Scottish actor got so crazy at the Le Royale lounge the other night, he jumped on the low-hanging disco ball in the middle of the room and swung on it until it ripped from the ceiling. "He fell on his face," said...
Two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest and Tony winner Alan Cumming will join forces in a production of Chekov's "The Seagull," which opens in March in New York.
After performing at Jingle Ball Friday night, Pete took Ashlee to the Knicks game on Saturday. Also sitting courtside next to the couple were LL Cool J and Alan Cumming, but it looks like Ashlee and Pete only had eyes for each other. These two are not your favorite new couple of 2007 and you're not into Ashlee's new single, but between celebrating an upcoming album and being very in love, it appears as if 2008 is going to start off pretty great for the starlet.
Lots more cute pics of Ashlee and Pete courtside as well as other famous folks so
Madonna walked the red carpet last night in support of her husband Guy Ritchie's Revolver screening in NYC. Also out for the party was a semi-random smattering of celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker, Barbara Walters, Steve Buscemi and Josh Groban. Madonna and Guy left their little ones at home for their night out on the town, and it looks like Madge and SJP were dressed for different climates entirely. This may not be my favorite look for, well, any of them, but considering this array of icons there's no complaining.
Zooey Deschanel looked perfectly adorable and wonderfully pretty at the LA premiere of her new Sci Fi miniseries Tin Man in LA last night. While her character is named DG instead of Dorothy, Zooey was in the requisite ruby red shoes with a stunning red dress to match and little Toto in her arms. I've been looking forward to this series since learning about it over the summer and getting a first look, and that was before I realized how much I would miss her on Weeds this season. Zooey recently described the new take on a classic story saying, "It's postmodern, more like Indiana Jones than a fairy tale." While they had me the moment they cast quirky Zooey, I genuinely can't wait to see the first episode this Sunday.

ALAN Cumming may love his new flick, "Suffering Man's Charity" - but not too many others did at its premiere at the Core Club. Some scenes in the dark comedy - about a "failed composer turned music teacher with a weakness for impoverished young men"...
Yay Zooey! Miss Deschanel was up in Vancouver with a few other Hollywood faces like Marcia Cross and Rumer Willis, to celebrate the opening of a Holt Renfrew department store. Dave Navarro was also in the house, officially making this the most random celebrity party ever. What would those four people ever have to talk about? Also, Alan Cumming was there. As usual Zooey was super cute while Rumer is totally stepping it up fashion-wise these days. She's totally going to be a "celebrity designer" within two years.

Oscars week is a good time for everyone in Hollywood, not just those involved with nominated movies. In fact, you don't even have to be remotely involved with film (I would be talking to you, Lil' Kim, but I know you were in Juwanna Man) to score some free stuff at the swag events. Mischa was in the house and apparently anti clubbing baby seals this weekend as was Hayden who was certainly ready for the ring (though I think she should be careful, cause Lil' Kim did spend some time in the clink). Hey, these ladies may not be going to the big event, but they certainly know how to take advantage of a good free stuff opportunity. More power to 'em.

The host of "The Anniversary Party" now has his own milestone to celebrate.
Alan Cumming and graphic artist Grant Shaffer tied the knot Saturday in a civil ceremony at the Old Royal Naval College near London, E! Online's own Marc Malkin reports.
About 140 guests watched the couple swap vows in custom-made suits, Cumming in an oatmeal-colored linen knit with a black shirt and tie and Shaffer in a black striped number with a white shirt and tie.
According to Cumming's rep, the celeb-studded guest list included Sir Ian McKellen, Geri Halliwell, Rufus Wainwright and Mary-Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
The couple walked down the aisle to the theme song from 1994's "Circle of Friends," Cumming's first big film, and then took to a nearby rented ice rink for a newlywed skate to the tune of Queen's "You're My Best Friend."
