The Fashion Group International threw their 25th annual Night of Stars at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night. Donatella Versace was presented an award by Jennifer Lopez and smiled alongside Marc Anthony and Balthazar Getty. Jennifer reminisced about her infamous green Versace dress — though she and Marc disagreed over whether she would still wear it today. Fresh from her appearance on Oprah, Ashley Olsen looked hot walking the red carpet without her boyfriend Justin Bartha. Kate Bosworth made it three nights in a row out on the town while Blake Lively arrived with Penn but as usual didn't pose with him. While Wall Street itself may be going through a hard time, the glamorous celebrities still came out to celebrate and honor Donatella.

Last night US Weekly celebrated their annual Hot Hollywood issue in New York with real life couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The adorable duo has been busy promoting HSM3 around the world prior to its big opening this weekend but Zac's already got other projects being highlighted. Just released is the trailer for 17 Again — it's like Big and Freaky Friday but with Hollywood's hottest rising star. Another costar couple, Gossip Girls' Blake Lively and Penn Badgley also attended but as usual skipped walking the red carpet together. Ugly Betty duo Becki Newton and Michael Urie played it up for the crowd again while Gavin Rossdale came solo. Sadly Hunter Parrish skipped the event although he was highlighted in the issue.

Onscreen siblings Penn Badgley and Taylor Momsen filmed scenes for Gossip Girl yesterday and today in NYC, joined by Willa Holland, who you might recognize as The OC's Kaitlin Cooper. Willa is guest starring on GG playing a model named Agnes who turns out to be a bad influence on Jenny Humphrey. Thing got pretty dramatic filming last night and, judging by Willa's Georgina-esque outfit and tough girl stare, looks like we might have another badass to stir things up on the Upper East Side.

After a long week of filming in the Hamptons, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively were back in NYC for dinner at Nobu. Looks like Penn brought his casual attire with him while his girlfriend looked stylish as always. Noticeably absent was Blake's puppy Penny, who seems to go everywhere with her mommy these days, but even the most doting pet parents need a night off every now and then.

Gossip Girl is on hiatus for the next few months, but Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are still heating things up in NYC. While these photos aren't as steamy as their romantic Mexican getaway, they make a cute couple just staying cool in the city with a couple of drinks. Now that Serena and Dan are split, these two must be sad about getting less onscreen kissing time, but it looks like they'll have a whole Summer of quality time together to make up for it.

Penn Badgley and Jessica Szohr were ushering in the welcome warmer weather filming Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday and Michelle Trachtenberg sat curbside on set today. Vanessa was absent from last night's episode, but the kids managed to stir up lots of drama without her. I'm beginning to like Blair and her bitchiness best and don't even get me started on troublemaking Jenny. Serena and Dan are a bit too perfect, though it looks like that won't last long when Michelle Trachtenberg's Georgina comes to town. Oh how we've missed all our upper east siders, but thankfully their love of gadgets, impeccable beauty and adorable envy inducing outfits didn't go anywhere during the hiatus. Unfortunately, while last night's episode won big ratings by CW standards, the fictional drama couldn't draw more than the recent season premiere of our other favorite Monday night drama, The Hills. So, what did you think about the shows last night?

While Claudia Schiffer and Diane Kruger are fashion show regulars, the Chanel Haute Couture presentation today in Paris was a first for Blake Lively. While she's abroad Gatecrasher reports stateside on the real-life drama brewing between Blake and her co-stars. Apparently she was spotted kissing Penn Badgley while out shopping in NYC on Saturday yet she and Leighton are avoiding each other like the plague (spoiler alert: the newspaper also outs the identity of GG). While in Paris Blake only wanted to talk about how grateful she is for the new life GG has given her. She said,

“I had a normal, all-American high school experience — nothing like the kids on Gossip Girl. The amount of money the characters have is incredible. The kids on the show drink cocktails at the Palace Hotel; I was eating hamburgers at fundraisers at Fuddruckers. [But it’s] opened so many doors for me, like coming to Paris to see a Chanel show. It doesn’t even seem like a job. We’re getting paid to live in New York and wear amazing clothes.”

Looking slightly less glam than she did at the Chanel party, Blake Lively was out in NYC on Thursday missing her most important accessory: rumored boyfriend Penn Badgley. But since Blake is on vacation now that Gossip Girl is over for the season, she can totally get away with keeping things more low-key than Serena would. While we impatiently wait for more episodes, Yum has a recipe for the truffle grilled cheese that Chuck makes Serena in the pilot. That just might hold us over until GG returns.

Chace Crawford's cute mug has been everywhere lately, from toy drives to Jingle Ball, but he wasn't the only pretty face that headed to MTV studios yesterday. He was joined by co-stars Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick to promote Gossip Girl on TRL. Guess the girls decided to sit this one out, but we'll take some eye candy from the most attractive cast of 2007 on TV any day. More good news for those of you who've decided that GG is your favorite new show of 2007 — in the midst of the huge writers' strike drought, we're still getting a new episode of the show tomorrow night.
