The Grammys may seem like one of the longest shows of Award Season, but last night they mixed it up with some exciting performances. The show kicked off with U2 starring Bono, but the absence of Chris Brown and Rihanna was quickly felt. Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Keith Urban and Boyz II Men all stepped in to form a hodge podge second performance of the night while the young couple dealt with assault allegations and drama. Total highlights included Jay-Z on stage with Chris Martin and the "Swagger Like Us" performance with incredibly pregnant MIA. They looked like they were having so much fun. While Robert Plant and Alison Krauss took home some of the biggest awards John Mayer and Coldplay took home statues too - check out all the winners here.
Gwyneth looked hot introducing Radiohead while Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus sweetly collaborated to sing Swift's new single. Kanye and Estelle sounded fabulous before similarly named Adele won Best New Artist. Jennifer Hudson left the room choked up during her acceptance speech and strong performance. Keith Urban looked handsome on stage a few times - including the performance with John Mayer, BB King and Buddy Guy as a tribute to Bo Diddley - in between moments beside Nicole Kidman in their seats. The Jonas Brothers took the stage with Stevie Wonder just one of the pairings that kept this year's Grammys interesting.
To see more from the show including the Blink 182 reunion, Kate Beckinsale, Paul McCartney, Duffy, Dwayne Johnson, Estelle, Kanye West and others just read more.

It was a star-studded lineup that braved the cold in Washington D.C. yesterday to support Barack Obama at the 'We are One' concert at the Lincoln Memorial. U2, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, and Mary J. Blige took the stage with a ton of other celebrity speakers including Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Jack Black and Queen Latifah. Usher gave the President-elect a hug while Michelle, Malia and Sasha enjoyed the entertainment along side the Bidens. Obama addressed the crowd, expressing his gratitude for their support as the celebrations for the inauguration continue to heat up. Jay-Z and Beyonce have been celebrating all weekend long including champagne celebrations with friends on Friday night and her closing performance yesterday. The party looks like it's just getting started and we can't wait to see what else is in store for all of us.

The Spirit whisked into LA last night for another red carpet premiere. Eva Mendes continued to look stunning in color while Scarlett stuck with neutrals letting her hair do the talking. As usual, no Mr. Reynolds to go along with his Mrs. even so they're some of our favorite newlyweds of the year. Earlier this week we got a peek at Scarlett and Samuel L. Jackson's rapport and it looks like the red carpet was one more night of the Lucy and Ricky show. Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson stopped by The Today Show this morning to help promote The Spirit. Over the weekend the costars gave a press conference in NYC, where they jokingly pushed and teased each other while talking about what it was like to play villains together. Frank Miller, who wrote and directed the movie, called Scarlett "one of the greatest comedic talents of our time" and said working with her was like "working with a young Lucille Ball." Here's more:
Scarlett, on why she chose the film: "I’m not really a comic book fan. That world always seemed kind of exclusive to me. What brought me to this project was Frank. I loved Sin City and 300 and I thought 'He must be a pretty interesting fellow.' I’d gotten a script and there really wasn’t any part for me, the Silken Floss character was kind of unwritten. . . we met and had this wonderful three-hour lunch meeting . . . at the end of it I'm like, 'I'm sad there's nothing for me to do.' And he's like, 'I'll think of something.' He decided to expand this character and I got super super lucky. That was really it for me."
On working with Samuel: "As far as Sam and I, it’s funny that [Frank] said Lucille Ball . . . the kind of comedy that we’re in, I feel like Sam was kind of the Lucy and I was the Ricky."
On being eye candy: "The character, she knows that's what she’s offering to the Octopus, and it's part of her appeal. She’s this giant brain who looks fantastic in a short skirt . . . These are her humble beginnings."
