On Sunday many familiar faces from this award season went to London to walk the red carpet in the rain at the BAFTAs. Angelina Jolie mixed it up with a splash of yellow while Brad Pitt wore a classic tux. Kate Winslet took home the Leading Actress trophy for The Reader while Penelope Cruz finally won Best Supporting Actress. Best Actor Mickey Rourke celebrated by chugging champagne in the press room and Heath Ledger received another posthumous win for Dark Knight. Even Shia LaBeouf made it out to present an award but was careful to hide his hurt hand. Once again, Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner of the night, taking home seven trophies including Best Film - check out the full list of winners here. Liev Schreiber took Alexander to the park earlier today while Naomi Watts ran some errands around LA. Liev's been promoting Defiance, but now it's Naomi's turn to start the interview circuit for her film The International. She recently spoke to Parade about getting advice from Nicole Kidman, how she met Heath Ledger, and whether marriage to Liev is a possibility. Here are some highlights:

• On remembering when she met Heath: "I hadn't really been that familiar with his work. Then, when I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, 'Wow! This guy is alive.' It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance. There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in. His strength didn't scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you [...] It's still incredibly difficult."
• On Liev: "I started out living in LA, and then I met this guy who hates LA! He’s a complicated man, which I’ve always been drawn toward in men. He’s fiercely intelligent."
• On her thoughts about marriage: "It's not like I’ve grown up having this dream of a fairy-tale wedding. My mother married twice and had two divorces. And Liev comes from the same kind of background. Maybe one day we’ll just wake up and go, 'Hey, let's do this.' And maybe not. He and I have a family. We're very much together. We just don't have that certificate, and that's okay with both of us. He gave me a beautiful ring, although I'm not wearing it right now."

It is always sad to hear about Heath from his friends, but Naomi seems happy and busy in her life right now with her three special boys.
