This weekend turned out to have something for everyone in terms of award shows. While The Grammys and The BAFTAS seemed to have stolen the show so to speak in terms of flash and star power, it's also important to remember who makes it all happen. The writers! Which means the fictional victims of sexually based offenses will remain vindicated through at least 2009.
While neither NBC nor franchise mastermind Dick Wolf disclosed the financial terms of the renewed deal, both trade mags are reporting that Hargitay and Meloni will take home annual salaries of more than $6.5 million.
