An avid fan of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has been arrested for illegally hacking his cell phone and calling and threatening his wife.
Devon Townsend used her position of employment at the Sandia National Laboratories to gain access to a Verizon Wireless Website and obtain the 30-year-old Bennington's private account information, including his cell phone number, phone bill, and various other numbers he's called as well as digital photos he snapped using the phone.
Per court documents obtained by the Albuquerque Journal, the New Mexico native also broke into the e-mail of the crooner's missus, Talinda Bennington, a former Playboy Playmate, as well as placed hostile phone calls to her that prompted her to file a report with police last month alleging the couple was being stalked.
A rep for Sandia said Townsend has since been fired.
